Health requirements
To be eligible for entry to Australia, you and your accompanying dependents must satisfy certain health criteria. You can consult www.immi.gov.au for further information.
* Health requirement for TEMPORARY entry to Australia - form 1163i
* Health requirement for PERMANENT entry to Australia (immigration) - form 1071i
REGISTERED PANEL DOCTORS
Consult the DIAC website in Australia for a list of registered panel doctors.
Persons aged 70 years or over - Tourist visa applications
If you are applying for a tourism visa and you are 70 years of age or over, please download the medical certificate that must be completed with one of our registered panel doctors or by your own doctor. You must enclose the completed medical certificate with your visa application. Please also include in your application evidence that you have taken out private health insurance to cover any medical expenses which may be incurred during your stay in Australia.
